THE SILENCE OF OTHERS reveals the epic struggle of victims of Spain’s 40-year dictatorship, who continue to seek justice to this day. Filmed over six years with intimate access to the plaintiffs and lawyers in the groundbreaking “
Argentine Lawsuit”,

The Silence of Others follows survivors as they fight a state-imposed amnesia of crimes against humanity, and explores a country still divided four decades into democracy.

The documentary by Almudena Carracedo and Robert Bahar received the Panorama Audience Award for best documentary and the Friedensfilmpreis Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung at this year´s Berlinale.
