This film is the story of four women from one family in a small village in the Basso Salento in today’s economic crisis.

The failure of the family business and the seizure of the house leave no alternative but to move to the country and work the land. This enforced choice will be the beginning of a catharsis that will lead our heroines to rethink their lifestyles and above all their emotional relationships.

The hard work of surviving without a penny, relying on what they can grow in the fields, will make them despair of failure, suffer for the difficulties of their new daily life, provoke an almost definitive rupture between mother and daughter, but finally allow an unexpected light to pierce the darkness of their daily existence.
